ACN Group Life Insurance
Dear Fellow ACN Members,
It is with much pleasure I inform you of the unanimous vote taken at the 2010 ACN Conference to move forward with group life insurance coverage. This plan will be available to you as member of The Apostolic Christian Network as long as you are current with your annual dues. Through the efforts of Pastor Jeff Phillips, who is also a representative of Mutual of Omaha, we were blessed as an organization to qualify for a much-needed insurance plan. We believe this insurance plan offer is one of the best around and is very affordable. It is a "group coverage plan", which would automatically cover ALL members of the ACN regardless of their age or health. In other words, no one can be turned down by Mutual of Omaha. If you presently have some type of coverage, this plan would not affect those benefits in any way.
In our annual business meeting, a vote to ratify the ACN’s acceptance of the $50,000 life insurance proposal, which included AD&D for all financially dedicated ministers, was unanimous. I am pleased to announce this plan for coverage has been offered to the ACN for only $455.00 per year, which would also include a member’s annual dues to the ACN. By making this annual payment, members would be covered from the time payment was received. We are thankful to be able to offer such a plan through our fellowship. No doubt this plan will bring much relief to family and friends knowing that their loved ones will be taken care if needed.
The coverage break points are as follows:
- Members up to age 69, $50,000 Death Benefit
- Members age 70 – 74, $32,500 Death Benefit
- Members age 75 – 79, $22,500 Death Benefit
- Members age 80 – 84, $15,000 Death Benefit
- Members age 85 – 89, $10,000 Death Benefit
- Members age 90+, $7,500 Death Benefit
This coverage includes:
- Waiver of Premium – Disability
- Living Care Benefit
- Portability
- Conversion Privilege
Please note: Members not wishing to participate can opt out by signing a form that will exclude them from this benefit. Those members wishing to opt out will only be responsible for the annual membership dues to the ACN.
In closing, I want to thank Pastor Jeff Phillips for all his hard work and long hours that made this dream come true for us. It has been a long time coming! We are blessed to not only have this type of coverage at such an affordable price, but also to have Jeff Phillips as a valuable contact in our fellowship. Thanks again Pastor Jeff!
